So this section is actually the first half of the “North Shore Coastal Walk” on the Trail App, but I do not have it in me to do 31.4km in one day. We did 16km, and it took us about 3 hours and 40 minutes. It was a fun wee section that had to be timed with the low tide so that Crumb and I could scramble over the rocks. There was a lot of sand walking, and the sun was scorching overhead, so it was pretty hard going. Crumb was absolutely shattered afterwards, as you can see.

Instead of hiking boots, I opted for some lightweight sneakers. Which was definitely the move since my feet got a little wet, even at high tide. I managed to thrift an unused pair of Saguaro barefoot sneakers a few weeks earlier, and man, were they comfy.
